  1. First, heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a pan. Drain and add the sama rice in it. Saute for 5 minutes. Then add boiling water and salt, cook covered on low flame till it is soft, cooked and water is absorbed. Remove after cooking and cool to room temperature. Separate the grains with a fork and keep the rice without cover.
