  2. 250 gms yogurt

  5. 5-6 green Chillies
  6. Half cup oil
  7. 6-7 curry leaves

  9. 4-5 black pepper
  10. 3 cloves
  11. 2 black cardamom
  12. 1-2 cinnamon stick
  13. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  14. 1 and half tbsp cumin powder
  15. 1 tsp coriander powder
  16. 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  17. 1 tbsp whole spice powder
  18. Salt to taste

Instructions to make to make Potato Rice

  1. Wash & soak Rice in plain water n keep it aside for half n hour..Heat oil in a pot & add sliced onion, fry till transculent.
  2. Add cumin seeds, cloves, black pepper, cinnamon stick, black cardamom & curry leaves. Fry for 2 mins. Than add ginger garlic paste & saute for 2 mins.
  3. Add Diced potatoes & tomatoes and give it a stir than add all masalas except whole spice powder & cumin powder. Mix it well and add half cup of water. Cover the lid and cook until water dries up.
  4. Now beat yogurt with whole spice powder & cumin powder. Pour it to the potatoes n bhunofy it, add green chillies to it n bhunofy it until oil seperates.
  5. Now add soaked rice with 3 glass of water to the prepared masala.. give it a good & gentle stir. Cook it on high flame until water starts to dry.. now turn the flame medium high n let it dry completely. Now put it on dumm for 5-10 mins.
  6. Give it a good mix before serving.
