- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- For tempering
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp white sesame seeds
- 1 stalk curry leaves
- As Required Finely chopped green coriander leaves to garnish
Instructions to make to make Bottle Gourd-Colocasia leaves Dhokla
- In a mixing bowl add all mentioned ingredients. Mix well.
- Grease small thali or holed steam plate. Spread prepared dhokla batter. Pressure cook for 4 whistles..or in steam cooker for 20-25 minutes till done.
- Let the steam escape before opening the lid.
Cool and cut into desired pieces. - In cooking, pan add heat oil. Temper with mustard seeds cumin seeds and white sesame seeds as splutter add curry leaves. Add prepared dhokla pieces and saute for a few minutes.
