- For Pakoda
- 1 cup Spinach leaves/Palak(chopped)
- 1/2 Onion (thinly sliced)
- 3/4 cup Gram flour/Besan
- 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Carrom seeds
- 1 tbsp chopped Coriander
- as per taste Salt
- as needed Water
- as required Oil for frying
- For Kadhi
- 1 cup Curd
- 1/3 cup Gram flour/Besan
- 1 tbsp Garlic paste
- 1/2 Onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 1/2 Cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves(chopped)
- as peer taste Salt
- 3 cups Water
- For Tempering
- 1 tbsp chopped Onion
- 2 Dry Red Chilli
- 2 tbsp Butter
- For Garnish
- 1/2 tsp Chat masala
- 1/3 tsp Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Butter
- For Rice
- 2 cup Rice
- 8 cups Water
- 1 tsp Oil
Instructions to make to make Buttery Kadhi In Rice Bowl
- For rice, boil rice with water and oil till it cooked well, strain and keep aside.
- For Pakora, in a mixing bowl, add spinach, onion, chilli powder, turmeric powder, carom seeds and salt.



- Add water and whisk well to make a thick batter.


- Heat oil in a heavy skillet, take a spoonful of batter and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.


- For Kadhi, in a mixing bowl add curd, gram flour, garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder and water.



- Mix it well to make a lump free batter and keep aside.

- In a heavy bottom skillet, heat 1 tbsp oil and add cumin seeds.

- Add chopped onion and cook it until translucent.


- Now add the prepared batter and give it a nice stir.


- Cook it for about 15 minutes on medium heat and then add salt.


- Then, add fries pakore in it, mix it well and garnish it with chopped coriander.



- For tempering heat butter in a pan, add 1 tbsp onion and sauté till golden in colour.



- Add 2 dry red chili and remove from heat.

- Add the temper over the prepared kadhi and mix it well.


- Make rice bowl, pour kadhi over it, sprinkle masala and butter, serve hot.
