- First, mash the cooked rice with hand in a bowl. Make sure that it is not hot.
- Add curd, salt, sugar, milk and mix well. Take any earthen clay pot and pour the prepared rice in it. Prepare tadka or tempering by heating 2 tsp ghee or oil. Then add cashews and fry for a minute. Remove in a plate. Heat 1 tsp ghee and add rest of the ingredients.
- When tadka is ready, pour on rice and mix well. Garnish with cashews and pomegranate seeds and cover well. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. Delicious Curd rice/ dahi bhat/ Thair sadam/ Masaru Anna is ready to enjoy.
